Professional photographer sought for photo coverage job at Churchwide Assembly PDF Print E-mail

We want to hire a professional photographer to document activities and events during the ELCA Churchwide Assembly. The photographer we are looking for has particular experience in photo coverage of events and gatherings – weddings, conventions, conferences, etc. The job would be at the normal contract rate for this type of photography.

The ELCA Churchwide Assembly takes place from 6–11 August 2007 in Chicago at the Navy Pier. Activities that require photography will take place at the Navy Pier and the nearby Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Lutherans Concerned / North America is going to this assembly as part of its advocacy work for full inclusion of LGBT Lutherans in the life of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are going to document the events and our activities within and surrounding these events with photography. That photographic coverage starts on August 6th and ends on the 11th.

The days will start around 7:30 am and go as late as midnight some days. The photos taken all become the property of Lutherans Concerned. Digital format. Photos provided on CDs each day.

Hotel room will be provided as well as registration fees. Even if you live in Chicago, we will want you to stay in the hotel.
