A New RIC Community: St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (Dunellen, NJ)

Help ReconcilingWorks welcome the newest Reconciling in Christ (RIC) community: St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (Dunellen, NJ).

Their welcome statement reads:

“St. Paul reminds us in his first letter to the Corinthians, “Now there are a variety of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone.” (1 Cor.12:4-6) We, the members of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Dunellen, NJ as a Reconciling in Christ church, acknowledge and affirm the variety of gifts with which God has gifted us and that these gifts are given to everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, color, age, marital status, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, economic status, mental or physical health status, culture, faith tradition or any other human created identity. We commit ourselves to the work of anti-racism and justice. In gratitude for God’s gift of grace, we welcome all God’s children to worship with us, receive the sacraments and share in fellowship and service.
