ReconcilingWorks’ leadership in organizing and training Lutherans across Minnesota to have faithful, grace-filled conversations about marriage equality made a difference for all families! Our staff and volunteers also actively participated in 2012 marriage equality campaigns in Washington, Maryland, Maine, and Rhode Island.
Currently, we have Lutheran folks working on the campaign in Oregon and advising in Ohio and Illinois. We’re looking to Pennsylvania and select Southern States in the not-too-distant future.
Marriage equality is gaining traction state by state as churches gain the courage to develop and embrace marriage rituals that are inclusive of all couples and their families.
