Their welcome statement reads:
“Compelled by God’s expansive, unconditional love revealed in Christ and celebrating the image of God in young people, CLAY strives to welcome youth and their leaders in all their beautiful expressions of difference, including race, economic status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, geography, neurodiversity, cultural background, church experience, and ability.
In our planning, leading, organizing and facilitating, we commit to consistently deepening our attention to and practices of generous welcome and racial equality so that every participant knows themselves beloved of God as they claim their place in the church and world.”
