A New RIC Community: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (Jericho, VT)

Help ReconcilingWorks welcome a new Reconciling in Christ (RIC) community:

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Jericho, Vermont.

Their welcome statement reads:

“Good Shepherd Lutheran Church believes that God’s love is freely given to all regardless of identity. No matter who you are, how you connect with faith and spirituality, or where you are on life’s journey, we embrace you in the name and love of Christ and welcome you into the life and ministries of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

As a Reconciling in Christ* partner congregation, we openly affirm our welcome and explicitly extend it to members of the LGBTQ+ community, and commit to doing our part to end racism. We do so in recognition that all of us are valuable and worthy members of the body of Christ and that the image of God is reflected in the full diversity, equity, and inclusion of all people.

We also embrace mental and physical disabilities as part of life in God’s good creation. People with diverse needs and abilities are valued and welcomed here. Please contact our pastor to inquire about accommodation and access opportunities. In fact, we invite anyone who might be interested in learning more about our church to contact our pastor to get a sense of what it is like to be a member of a truly vital and caring congregation. *Reconciling – to exist in harmony, to make compatible reconcilingworks.org
