Their welcome statement reads:
“The community of Grace Lutheran Church trusts that God is revealed in the diversity of humanity, and that the world is made better as we celebrate the variety of God’s expression in all people.
As Jesus opened his arms to all, we welcome, rejoice with, create safe space for, and invite all people into any and all roles of ministry and leadership. This invitation includes, specifically, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Black, Brown, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), and all who may have been harmed by the Church or turned away because of their identity.
We further pledge to advocate for racial and gender equity, social and economic justice, care of creation, celebration of neurodiversity, and all other work that helps us embody Christ’s teaching to love without limits.“
