Help ReconcilingWorks welcome the newest Reconciling in Christ (RIC) community: Roots of the Table in Renton, WA.
Their welcome statement reads:
“Rich or poor, home owner or homeless, People who’ve gone to church their whole lives and those here today for the first time: There is shelter at this Table. Non-conforming, straight or rainbow identified, Black, white, and every beautiful color between: There is inclusion at this Table. Old, young, middle aged or babe, Able bodied and those differently abled: There is compassion at this Table. Singers, dancers, painters, or musicians, Scholars, thinkers, or those unsure of how far to the left or right they wish to stand: There is room for expression at this Table. In sickness or in health, Wherever you are on your journey, In recovery or simply trying to find your way: There is grace at this Table. We’re all in this together! This is God’s Table – we are simply stewards of the space and receivers of the meal. In gracious gratitude we welcome YOU here!”
