Transgender Day of Remembrance is a time to reflect on the real dangers that trans communities face and to commit ourselves to action — to speak out against injustice, to support trans lives, and to build safer, more inclusive communities.
We affirm that every person is made in the image of God.
Each life lost is sacred, each story matters, and each act of violence is a call for justice. On this day, we remember those we have lost, hold their loved ones in our hearts, and renew our commitment to a world where trans and nonbinary people can live with dignity, safety, and love.
