“Until All Are Free” Recap

For the over 200 who gather at the ReconcilingWorks Assembly this past weekend and all who held us in prayer, thank you for creating a sacred space for all to find community, celebrate ReconcilingWorks successes, and to share your wisdom on how to best move our mission forward. We are grateful for the great cloud of witness who are committed to doing the important and challenging work to ensure lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people and families have a safe place to worship and to thrive.

We are grateful this great cloud of witnesses also knows there is much work to be done “Until All Are Free” and that they are present for the journey ahead.  Here are some comments from participant’s evaluation forms:

“The Awards Gala blew me away: from the Silent Auction, the setup of the room, and the food to the presentations of awards and the videos. Thanks, see you at the next one for sure.”

“It was wonderful to see old friends, make new ones, and I wish the new leadership all the best as we move forward. I am still on board because there is still much work to do. God’s work, our hands.”

“So well planned. Every detail was attended to.”

“This was my first Assembly and I really enjoyed it and felt moved many times. The attendees made me feel welcome and important. It created a desire to become involved in the work that still awaits us all.”

It was an absolute joy and delight to be with those who gathered and to wrapped in prayer by those not able to attend.  Thank you for your contributions to ReconcilingWorks, to the church, and to the world.  You are welcome.  You belong.  We are ReconcilingWorks!

Much Joy,

Aubrey, the Board of Directors, and the staff
