Their welcome statement reads:
“ALL ARE WELCOME! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Through all that is loving, graceful, and kind, Bay Lake Island Camp is:
An inviting place, welcoming all people to participate
in the life and wellness of the whole world regardless
of religion, color, national origin, age,
sexual orientation or gender identity including
lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and Queer+,
physical capabilities, economic, cultural or social standing
or any other divisive, exclusive distinctions and/or categories.
Bay Lake Island Camp, Deerwood, MN is:
A space for healing and wholeness;
A retreat and rest for those weary of labor and life;
A community of compassionate concern;
A people in celebration of creation and joy;
A gathering place for people of many faiths;
A practice field and launching pad for teaching and learning
