Reconciling in Christ Partner Stories of Impact

Every Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Partner has a story to tell—a story of courage, welcome, transformation, and hope.

Across the United States and Canada, RIC Partners are creating communities where LGBTQIA+ people are not only welcomed but fully included, celebrated, and empowered to live into the fullness of who God created them to be. At the same time, these communities are embracing the ongoing work of racial equity and anti-racism, recognizing that God's vision of justice and beloved community calls us to work to change systems of oppression in all their forms. These stories are about more than becoming an RIC Partner. They are about lives changed, relationships deepened, congregations transformed, and communities strengthened through faithful commitments to welcome, inclusion, celebration, advocacy, racial equity, and anti-racism.

About the Reconciling in Christ Logo

ReconcilingWorks believes representation matters. Inspired by the Progressive Pride Flag design, the RIC logo includes the colors blue, pink, and white to represent our transgender siblings, as well black and brown to represent the fullness our Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Community brings to the queer community. This logo is used by RIC Partners to better communicate their commitment to the work of welcome, inclusion, celebration, and advocacy of God's Beloveds.

RIC Partners receive access to the updated RIC Partner logo in a variety of formats to use in the following ways:

  • Media: Faith Community website pages, Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky, YouTube and other social media
  • Communications: Newsletters, faith community mass emails, bulletins, new member packets, and other printed materials
  • Art & Signage: In hallways, educational spaces, sanctuary, windows, doors, and outdoor marquees and banners
