A New RIC Community: Lutheran Church of the Cross (Arlington Heights, IL)

Help ReconcilingWorks welcome the newest Reconciling in Christ (RIC) community: Lutheran Church of the Cross (Arlington Heights, IL).

Their welcome statement reads:

“Welcome!
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
Sometimes life appears overwhelming. The Bible assures us that we are not alone. God is always journeying with us, comforting us, encouraging us, and offering us hope for a new day.

At Lutheran Church of the Cross we are dedicated to Sharing God’s Love. We believe that God’s grace and compassion extends to all the beloved community regardless of one’s race, culture, age, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, ability, or economic status. We are a congregation committed to celebrating the wondrous diversity and inclusion of God’s children in both membership and leadership. As followers of Christ, we embrace the work of anti-racism and seek to break down the many walls that divide. We strive to create a safe space for worship, fellowship, and service.

LCC is a come as you are church, so please feel free to join us for worship and fellowship. We practice open communion, which means that all are welcome at Christ’s table. We hope to meet you soon!
