Their welcome statement reads:
“Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobbs, New Mexico, welcomes people of all
sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expression. We are
committed to racial equity and justice for all. We would welcome an
LBGTQIA+ and/or a Black, Brown, Indigenous, Person of Color as our rostered
leader. We welcome the use of our sanctuary for LGBTQIA+ weddings and
blessings. We will make a meaningful annual contribution to support the
national Reconciling in Christ (RIC) program.“
