ReconcilingWorks is proud to announce our newest RIC congregation Edmonds Lutheran Church in Edmonds, Washington.
“Edmonds Lutheran Church is a reconciling, affirming and inclusive Christian community; striving through worship, love and service to welcome all people just as God created them. If you’ve never set foot in a church, if you had a bad experience or you worship regularly, we welcome everyone without exception and regardless of sex, race, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, physical and mental ability, age, or economic circumstances.
We recognize that each person is a unique creation of God and, through Grace, is called a child of God. We pledge to ourselves and to all others that we will strive to live as a reconciling people, in our life together, working to be a sign in the community that Jesus Christ is here.
Edmonds Lutheran Church is a vibrant congregation that is actively engaged in our neighborhood. We have a community garden on our property that is welcome for our neighbors’ use. We also have a free community dinner every Wednesday that serves anywhere from 150-300 people every Wednesday night. Regular NA and OA groups meet on our campus. There is something here for everyone and we would be delighted to have you as a one-time visitor or as a member. Welcome!”
