Marsha P. Johnson, Transgender Activist. 1945-1992.
“No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.”
“How many years has it taken people to realize that we are all brothers and sisters and human beings in the human race?”

June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) month. This month is a time of celebration, but also recognition of those who have participated in the journey toward equality, justice, and the freedom to love without fear. Each day of this month we will be spotlighting one of the people who has taken a stand in the struggle toward inclusion and acceptance for all.
