Expanding Our Welcome: Resources for Disability Justice & Neurodiversity

At ReconcilingWorks, we believe that God’s beloved community is one where every person is welcomed, included, celebrated, and advocated for.

Living into this commitment invites us to continually expand our understanding of the beautiful diversity of God’s creation, including people living with disabilities and neurodivergent people.

Disability justice is deeply connected to our work for LGBTQIA+ inclusion. Our communities are made up of people with intersecting identities, experiences, and access needs. When we make our congregations more accessible, challenge ableism, and listen to the experiences of disabled and neurodivergent people, we strengthen our commitment to creating a church where everyone can fully participate and flourish.

We invite you to explore the resources in our Advocacy for People Living with Disabilities & Neurodiversity collection. These tools can support individual learning, congregational conversations, and practical changes in how we gather, worship, and care for one another.
