“As the people of Faith Lutheran Church of Bristol, we recognize Jesus’ announcement of the Kingdom of God as God’s embrace to all people.
Embraced by God, we proclaim our welcome unreservedly to all colors, all gender identities, all gender expressions, all sexual orientations, all religions, all cultures, all abilities, all ages and sizes, inviting all individual to full participation in the life of our community of faith.
As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, we are committed to on-going, prayer, conversation, study, and work in manifesting welcome and the grace and love of God to all people and in promoting justice and equality – racially, socially, economically, and ecologically – in the community and the world. This congregation will be open to calling LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC (Black, Brown, Indigenous, Person of Color) Rostered Leaders. This commitment extends to all areas of leadership within the life of our congregation.“
