“Our unity is in Christ. Therefore, we at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church aim to welcome all.
We confess that we don’t always get it right, but we seek to reflect God’s wide welcome in all we do because God welcomes all. This welcome includes all races or cultures, sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, or relationship status. We welcome all without regard to addictions, physical or mental health, imprisonment, socio-economic circumstances, or anything that too often divides us.
We proclaim this statement of welcome to all who have known the pain of exclusion or discrimination in the Church and society. All people are invited to partake in the Lord’s Supper by Christ’s invitation to His table, not ours.
We invite you to join us as God guides us toward deeper love, understanding, and mutual respect. Our unity is in Christ.“
